We seek to serve Pierce County through a variety of services for both businesses and individuals, as well as through regional planning

Business Services 

What we do to develop skilled employees and provide workers for the jobs you need to fill:

  • Train and refresh employee skills, aiding in retention
  • Recruit, screen and assess job candidates and current employees
  • Develop new strategies for attracting, retaining and managing a more diverse workforce
  • Develop strategies for employers to address specific employee populations (i.e. baby boomers who continue to work out of economic necessity)
  • Analyze wages
  • Develop job descriptions
  • Provide comprehensive background checks

Individual Services 

What we do to meet the needs of job seeking individuals experiencing diverse circumstances:

  • Career guidance and one-on-one career coaching
  • Support completion of secondary education and continuance to post-secondary education and training
  • Support laid off workers with retraining and connection to employment resources
  • Prepare individuals for career transitions
